The Place-Based Youth Development Fund ($5.912 million per annum) sits within the Positive Youth Development Promotion funding stream equalling $9.062 million (per annum)
Background
The Place-Based Youth Development Fund (Place-Based Fund) sits alongside the Youth Development Contributory Fund within the Positive Youth Development Promotion funding stream.
The Place-Based Fund provides funding to locally-based organisations to deliver community-led programmes and/or services (minimum 15 weeks of engagement) that provide early prevention/intervention and strength-based youth development opportunities. Community programmes and/or services will build trusting relationships with young people over an extended period through consistency of care.
