Petrol Vouchers for Volunteers
BP New Zealand recognises that higher global fuel prices are having
a big impact on volunteers who use vehicles to do their work. BP "Vouchers for Volunteers" programme donates thousands of fuel
vouchers to volunteer organisations that use vehicles to get people to
essential services or bring them the provisions they need.
If you're a volunteer or belong to a volunteer organisation, BP are
offering the opportunity to win fuel vouchers. For more information and
criteria on how to apply visit their website.
Applications close 5 July and successful recipients will be notified by email during the week 27 July.
World of Difference Programme - funding for Youth Workers
The Vodafone World of Difference Programme pays the salary and expenses of
six passionate people each year, so they can work with the
youth-focused cause of their choice. If you know of any stars working
in the NZ youth sector (or who should be) of if you know of any
organisations who would benefit from capacity building, send in your
application. Applications open on 13 July and close on 21 August. Visit the Vodafone website to find out more information.
