Have your say on the Social Security Amendment Bill (No 3)

This bill is intended to ensure equitable treatment for people receiving payments of weekly compensation, and of students seeking assistance for their accommodation costs. The closing date for submissions is Thursday, 28 April 2011.

Local Government provides youth councils and other youth advisory groups with regional networking and information-sharing opportunities.

Youth Parliament

Find out more about New Zealand's Youth Parliament

Youth Parliament has been held since 1994. It provides an opportunity for young New Zealanders to learn about our democracy and influence public decision-making. The next New Zealand Youth Parliament is scheduled to occur in 2013. The last Youth Parliament was held in July 2010.
