The Ministry of Youth Development is currently compiling a comprehensive web resource with key facts and statistics about young people in New Zealand. The general purpose of the web resource will be to monitor trends in youth wellbeing over time, present objective statistical information to contribute to better informed public debate, and help to identify key issues and priorities for action.

The resource will pull together a wide range of information about New Zealand youth.  Its aim is to provide a picture of young people in New Zealand – what they look like and how they are doing.
