Youth Parliament 2004
New Zealand's fourth Youth Parliament was held between 16 and 17 August 2004 in Wellington, New Zealand.
 For two days 120 Youth MPs, selected by their local MPs, took over Parliament to discuss and debate young people’s issues.
The Parliamentary Press Gallery, also staffed by young people, captured the news and photographed the events taking place.
Over two days all participants took part in a real parliamentary
setting with debates and select committees about issues important to
young people.
