An issue I feel strongly about:
I believe it is worthwhile to debate on the current hot topic "NCEA vs.
the Cambridge" debate. I am sure all the students attending Youth Parliament have had to make a choice between one of the two
educational systems in the country. The media reports and the debating
we had throughout the country was not very positive about our national
NCEA system. However I personally believe that NCEA as a new
educational system surely has several merits. And any new system will
require patience and acceptance from the parents and the students
undergoing the educational process. It does need some minor changes but
that accordingly changes with time.
