An issue I feel strongly about:
Of
all the well qualified students who enter the doors of Youth
Parliament, how many will be in touch with their peers, with every-day
people? The problem with leadership is that you must represent the
people, but at the same time you must lead the people. I think that for
Youth Parliament to be effective, Youth MP’s must express the real
views of young people in New Zealand, while also holding true to their
beliefs.
