An issue I feel strongly about:
The underachievement of Maori students in our current education system
is an area that is of real concern to me. I believe strongly that if
Maori students are given the right opportunities and environments they
can fulfil their potential and succeed. It is time for Maori youth to
stop emulating the failures of the past and instead, embark upon new
roads of success that can bring a better future.
