An issue I feel strongly about:
An issue of particular interest for me is that of the therapeutic cloning of
stem cells. It’s a topic with a degree of controversy yet one which I
believe, may revolutionize medicine. With the aid of cell therapies, we may
soon have remarkable cures for cancer, diabetes, kidney disease, Parkinson's
and a number of other conditions and chronic diseases. Naturally, there will
be disagreement on this moral issue yet there is every reason to look
forward to this new innovative approach which may result in radically
improved ways to treat disease.
