An issue I feel strongly about is:

I am interested in the New Zealand judicial system, especially the length of sentencing in the youth court, as I feel that the consequences for criminal offences are not tough enough. Therefore instead of stopping re-offending by teaching the offender a lesson, it instead encourages offenders to in many cases re-offend, because the consequences for their actions are minimal, compared to consequences in other western countries.
