An issue I feel strongly about:

An issue that concerns me is health, and the way that everyday we are positively exposed to unhealthy items, promoting a subconscious acceptance of them. I think that the way cigarettes are displayed like lollies in shops is something that needs to be addressed, before we have a generation of New Zealanders growing up believing that cigarettes are a normal, acceptable, desirable thing, instead of seeing them as they harmful thing that they are. I think moves need to be made to control the way that unhealthy products (like cigarettes and sugary foods) are displayed and advertised, so as to break the cycle of normalisation, and use.
