Be part of the Community Plan process

LTCCP is the short way of saying the looooooong crazy tongue twister Long-Term Council Community Plan.

The LTCCP is the biggest way you can participate in local decision making. It sets out the plan and goals for the next 10 years for your community. It’s like one big map of everything the council is doing and why they are doing it.

The LTCCP process happens about every three years. Being a part of the LTCCP process is a great way for you to be involved in a big plan that will directly affect the next 10 years of life in your community. Both local and regional councils do the LTCCP process.

Call your council or check out their website to find out where they are up to in the LTCCP process. What are the community outcomes in your council’s LTCCP which are about young people? What do you think about them?
