Why  PROVOKE?
PROVOKE was a result of an email consultation group with previous student representatives at the end of 2004. It resulted in three key themes:

  • STIRRING UP new thoughts and action - youth voice advocates inspiring their peer group to make their voices heard
  • CHALLENGING young people in a safe and supportive way to experiment with leadership roles and being an advocate for other young people
  • GETTING GOING on projects - brainstorming, deciding and doing.
So PROVOKE replaced the Student Representative Scheme in 2005 - and now in 2007 Provoke Network takes the project a step further!

Youth voice advocates
Youth voice advocates are the central players in the Provoke Network project. If you're aged between 13-24 years and keen to get more communication happening between youth communities and government, as well as a passion for getting youth voices heard in their community, you might like to get involved.
