  • if you are still at school or at a tertiary institution, the staff may well be able to offer some help or guidance
  • it is a good idea to have a parent or an older person you trust who can act as an advocate if necessary.
Young people’s rights
If you’re under 18, your human rights are listed in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCROC).
