Making it happen: Strengthening youth development in schools (2005)
This resource aims to encourage boards of trustees, principals and teachers to apply the youth development approach within schools more effectively. It was developed as a result of extensive consultation with a wide range of schools and educational organisations.
Based upon the six principles of the Youth Development Strategy Aotearoa, it provides ideas about how the concepts of youth development might be used.
These examples aim to stimulate further thinking about how schools can implement the principles differently.
