Youth'07: The Health and Wellbeing of Secondary School Students in New Zealand
8 December 2008
The findings of Youth'07: The Health and Wellbeing of Secondary School Students in New Zealand were released on 8 December.
This report presents findings from the 9,107 secondary school students
who took part in New Zealand’s second national youth health and
wellbeing survey, conducted in 2007. The findings are compared with
those from the first survey conducted in 2001.
Almost all students continue to be healthy, vibrant and fully
participating in their families, schools and communities. Most report
good health and emotional wellbeing. The majority of students feel part
of their school and many help others at their school and in their
communities. For more information and to order a hard copy of the reports visit the Youth 2000 website.
